Liberpsy Data Protection Policy.

Liberpsy takes care of your privacy and the protection of your personal data.

Liberpsy has adopted aProtection of personal data policyon consent to the collection, disclosure or use of personal information in accordance withLaw 25and of theHealth and Social Services Act,as well as other legal rules regulating respect for privacy and confidentiality, includingCharter of Rights and Freedoms of Persons theCivil Code of Quebec andProfessional Code.

When you contact or deal with Liberpsy as part of consulting, training, or any offer of services related to Liberpsy, the personal information we collect is collected in a transparent manner and processed in full compliance with the current legal framework. The purpose of collecting and processing personal information is at all times to enable us to provide the best possible services and to manage the services we use to the best possible extent. According to our rules for the protection of personal data collected, we keep the personal data collected for the duration necessary for our purposes and destroy data that is no longer necessary within a reasonable time.

What types of personal information are we likely to collect

  • Identification datasuch as your surname and first name, civic address, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as, as required, those of your loved ones;
  • Clinical datain connection with your reason for consulting, such as your personal and family history, lifestyle, education background, health status, previous clinical reports and any other information relevant to the assessment and therapeutic process that you have shared with us. This data is kept exclusively in your clinical record.and nowhere else.The confidentiality, protection and access of your clinical records fall within the framework by theCode of EthicsQuebec psychologists and psychotherapists. Clinical records must be retained for a minimum of five years following the completion of psychology or psychotherapy services and may then be destroyed. We will destroy your file after this five-year legal deadline has expired;
  • Professional dataif you are a provider or service provider of Liberpsy, such as business name, surname, first name, functions, and contact and payment contact details. These data are only retained if Liberpsy enters into a professional relationship with service providers or the company. Personal data sent through advertising emails or other unsolicited communications are not covered by our data protection policy, but are not retained for more than six months.

Who can access your clinical records?

Liberpsy ensures that the privacy and confidentiality of those who consult us are respected.

As part of the follow-up provided, we may be able to share some information with other professionals.·subject to your prior written and informed consent. Only yourself, your representative·e legal·e and professionals·authorized·a can have access to your clinical file. In accordance with the law, it is impossible for us to transmit information on your file to a third party outside of Liberpsy without your written consent or your representative's consent.·e legal, with the exception of exceptional situations provided for by law, such as a court order.

As part of our services, some of our subcontractors can access your personal data. We carefully select subcontractors and service providers, ensuring that they provide sufficient guarantees, including expertise, reliability and resources, to meet the requirements of applicable legislation. We use the services of the following companies whose privacy policies you can consult by clicking on their name:

  • GoRendezVous– appointment management, electronic clinical records and online payments.
  • Learnworlds– On-demand e-learning platform whose data protection procedures comply with European standardsGRDPand data stored on Google servers located in North America.

You also have your role to play to protect everyone's privacy

Unless otherwise authorized, you are not allowed to capture/record images or videos related to your sessions with Liberpsy, whether in person or remotely via videoconference.

You also have a responsibility to respect the confidentiality of other people who receive services from Liberpsy. You may therefore not disclose personal information about people who consult with Liberpsy, other than yourself, unless you are acting as a legal representative of that person.
